Over its 20-year history, The Leadership Challenge has sold over one million copies and has been translated into 12 languages. More than 350 doctoral dissertations and academic research projects have been based on The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® model.

SRE applies these five practices outlined in The Leadership Challenge in concert with group music making principles to demonstrate in the moment results that participants will .

Based on the Gung Ho! book by Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles, the Gung Ho! process has been used by organizations around the world, and was recognized in 2000 by Human Resource Executive magazine as one of the Top Ten Training Programs.

The Gung Ho! approach focuses on sharing of information; aligning purpose, values, and goals of people and organization; frontline decision making responsibility; and celebration of successes. SRE Faciliator Todd Balcom is one of a select few in the nation recognized by Remo Inc., the largest percussion manufacturer in the world as an Endorsed HealthRHYTHMS Facilitator. 

HealthRHYTHMS is an evidence based wellness program developed from the ground breaking research protocol of Dr. Barry Bittman, M.D., et. al. demonstrating significant benefits to immune function at the cellular level through participation in group recreational music making.  Subsequent research using similar protocols with staff at long term care facilities has demonstrated significant reductions in employee turnover due to job related stress and burnout.
